Position Overview
The Social Media Consultant will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing social media and digital communication strategies across our clients group of hospitality brands. This role requires a creative yet strategic thinker with strong content, storytelling, and communication skills, including the creation and management of brand newsletters. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure brand consistency, engagement growth, and effective digital communication.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.

Create and manage monthly content calendars across multiple brands and platforms.

Align digital content with campaigns, promotions, seasonal offers, and business initiatives.
Content Creation & Management

Create and curate high-quality content including copy, imagery, video, reels, and stories.

Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and storytelling standards.

Coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers, and on-site teams to source content.

Schedule and publish content across all social media platforms.
Newsletter Creation & Email Marketing

Plan, write, and design engaging email newsletters for the group and individual brands.

Manage newsletter content calendars in line with marketing campaigns and promotions.

Ensure newsletters reflect brand voice and drive engagement, awareness, and conversions.

Work with internal teams to source content, offers, and updates for distribution.

Monitor newsletter performance (open rates, click-through rates, engagement) and provide insights for optimisation.
Community Management

Manage daily engagement across platforms, including comments, messages, and mentions.

Build and maintain relationships with followers, influencers, and industry partners.

Monitor online sentiment and escalate guest feedback or issues where required.
Analytics & Reporting

Track and analyse social media and newsletter performance metrics.

Compile monthly reports with insights, trends, and recommendations.

Optimise content and strategy based on data, performance, and platform updates.
Collaboration & Brand Management

Work closely with marketing, sales, PR, and operations teams to ensure alignment.

Support new brand launches, hotel openings, and group-wide marketing initiatives.

Maintain consistent brand representation across all digital communication channels.
Skills & Experience Required

3–5 years experience in social media management and digital marketing.

Experience creating and managing email newsletters or EDM campaigns.

Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content planning skills.

Proven experience managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously.

Proficiency in tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp or similar).

Photography and video editing skills are advantageous.
