Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS / React Native / AWS)

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, contributing to architectural decisions, and building exceptional mobile experiences across native iOS and cross-platform environments. You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications in fast-paced Agile teams.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and React Native.
• Build highly performant, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions across iOS and cross-platform ecosystems.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, authentication services, and cloud-native solutions.
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows using modern identity providers and standards.
• Integrate AWS cloud services including API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, S3, and serverless architectures.
• Develop features involving push notifications, analytics, offline capabilities, and real-time data synchronization.
• Optimize application performance, memory management, startup times, and overall user experience.
• Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, and UI testing.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient mobile release processes.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical mentoring initiatives.
• Work directly with U.S.-based product and engineering teams within Agile delivery environments.

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience developing native iOS applications using Swift and UIKit.
• Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS development patterns.
• Production experience building and maintaining React Native applications.
• Deep understanding of mobile application architecture patterns including MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture.
• Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with authentication technologies such as OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, and Cognito.
• Hands-on AWS experience including:
  • API Gateway
  • Lambda
  • Cognito
  • S3
  • Serverless integrations
• Experience with push notifications, analytics platforms, crash reporting, and monitoring solutions.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and modern software engineering best practices.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and client stakeholders.
• Advanced English communication skills suitable for daily interaction with U.S.-based teams.

• Experience with Android development using Kotlin.
