Role Overview:
We are seeking a Manager Proposal to supervise, prepare, and update proposals/bids for engineering design projects (Basic Engineering / FEED / Detailed Engineering), ensuring technical soundness, financial viability, and compliance with client requirements, market trends, and management directives.
Job Responsibilities:
- To supervise, prepare and update proposals / bids for different jobs for engineering design (Basic engineering / Feed / Detailed engineering) considering market trends, management directives, client requirements, financial and commercial aspects of the project to ensure the preparation of a technically sound and financially viable bid inline with requirements.
- Prepare execution and bid strategy in consultation with head proposals.
- Supervise and support proposals / bids preparation with a clear structure/scheme and cost-effective technical and commercial considerations of proposal to ensure that proposal prepared entails all ingredients necessary for the award of job while achieving the managements objectives.
- Identifies and highlights all possible risks associated with a job and suggests necessary safeguards in the bid to ensure the minimization of risk element.
- Ensure the effective achievement of proposals objectives through strong leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the section.
- Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy.
- Comply with all QA/QC standards (Dims Standards) as applicable to the company systems, policies, procedures, and documents.
Requirements:
- BSc in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
- 9 to 15 years of experience in Engineering Design (Piping & Process discipline essential).
- Expertise in proposals, bids, and cost estimation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and related tools.
