Access Network Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled L2 Access Network Engineer with strong expertise in FTTX, GPON, OLT, and ISP access network technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for network operations, troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization of access network infrastructure in ISP and telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Access Network operations across FTTX, GPON, WLAN, and ISP environments
• Perform installation, commissioning, migration, and firmware upgrades of access network equipment and IMASTER NCE
• Monitor and troubleshoot OLT, ONT, MSAN, and GPON network issues to ensure smooth network performance
• Configure and maintain Layer 2 switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, and Ethernet-based networks
• Conduct network diagnostic tests, analyze results, and resolve performance-related issues
• Support and optimize Copper & GPON network architecture in ISP environments
• Handle Huawei access network equipment including MA5600T, MA5800, MA5616, UA5000, and related platforms
• Prepare technical reports, performance analysis, and operational updates for management and operations teams
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure network stability, compliance, and service quality
• Support 24/7 operational activities and respond to network incidents when required

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of FTTX, GPON, OLT, WLAN technologies
• Understanding of optical fiber communication & ISP networks
• Hands-on experience with Huawei access network products
• Strong troubleshooting and network diagnostic skills
• Good communication and analytical abilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecom / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Access Network Engineer
