Job Responsibilities

Manage serverless databases on AWS like RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora.

Deploy and maintain containerized databases using Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement automated backup, recovery, and failover strategies.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate database deployment and scaling.

Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of all database systems.

Experience

3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with hands-on cloud exposure

Strong experience with AWS database services

Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Proficient in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Solid understanding of backup strategies, replication, and disaster recovery.

Knowledge of database security best practices.
