Position Overview:
The Manager of Project Financing will be responsible for financial planning, structuring, and execution of financing activities. The role focuses on project evaluation, bank financing, cost control, and ERP-based financial reporting to ensure proper financial governance and resource utilisation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial aspects of special projects, including budgeting, costing, and expenditure control.
- Structure and execute bank financing for project activities, CAPEX, and working capital requirements.
- Prepare financial feasibility studies, project cash flow forecasts, and funding schedules.
- Liaise and negotiate with commercial banks for loans, renewals, and credit facilities, ensuring compliance with covenants.
- Monitor fund utilisation, cost variances, and project budgets to ensure financial discipline.
- Oversee accurate financial data validation and reporting from project sites.
- Implement and manage project finance modules in Odoo ERP for real-time monitoring and MIS reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to enhance ERP functionality for project-level financial control.
- Ensure statutory, regulatory, and audit compliance across all project financing activities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project finances, loan agreements, and related correspondence.
- Serve as the financial liaison between the head office and project sites, providing insights for management decisions.
- Conduct site visits to verify financial records and support project teams in financial planning and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA), Highly Preferred. MBA (Finance) from a Top Reputable University.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in project finance, corporate finance, or project accounting.
- ERP Expertise: Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Odoo) for financial management, project costing, and MIS reporting.
- Industry Exposure: Experience in manufacturing, mining, engineering, or industrial project environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of bank financing, project accounting, and treasury management.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
