Job Description:
- Promote the companys range of Food & Nutra ingredients raw materials to the targeted manufacturers in the Food & Nutra industry
- Gain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of existing and potential
customers within your assigned territory. This includes understanding their
products, manufacturing capabilities, upcoming products, market information,
current suppliers, organizational structure, and key personnel.
- Develop effective sales strategies tailored to customer needs, internal
capabilities, competitor weaknesses, and company strengths. Achieve quarterly
and annual sales targets. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address customer concerns related
to compliance and product specifications. - Forecast territory sales figures and monitor actual sales versus budget for the
assigned product portfolio, customer-wise, and product- wise - Process customer purchase
orders, coordinate with Supply Chain & Commercial departments, and provide
shipment status updates to customers. - Prepare daily customer visit reports, opportunities, and projects, and update
them in the Companys CRM system. Prepare reports on marketing & sales by
supplier-wise and product-wise analysis - Present the product or service in a structured professional manner to all target
customers. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through
in-person meetings, telephone calls, and email - Develop and execute a comprehensive territory Sales & Marketing plan,
including sales calls, customer visits, marketing activities, promotions, business
development, and customer follow-ups. - Initiate and implement marketing & sales plans, collaborating with and under the supervision of the reporting manager, to increase market share and revenue growth in all company products.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and new customers to increase business. Discuss requirements, provide quotations, and negotiate sales contracts and volume pricing agreements.
- Coordinate with support staff in the Accounts, Commercial, and Logistics departments to ensure timely fulfilment of customer needs.
- Travel to visit assigned customers based on the assigned territory.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the food, nutraceutical B2B Sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of food products, functional ingredients, or nutraceutical markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skill
