Tax & Accounting Manager

A global packaging industry, with over 50 years of expertise, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager. 

As the Manager Accounting & Taxation, you will be the cornerstone of our financial health. Based in Lahore, you will oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations and tax strategies, ensuring 100% compliance while optimizing our tax position in a high-growth manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Mastery: Lead all Sales Tax and Income Tax compliances, ensuring accurate filings and maximizing correct sales tax input.
• Strategic Reporting: Oversee the monthly closing of books and deliver high-quality financial reporting to drive business decisions.
• Exemption & Advisory: Proactively obtain tax exemption certificates and manage documentation to support ongoing sales tax and income tax cases.
• Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day accounting workflows, ensuring precision in ledger entries and financial controls.
• Audit & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities and external consultants to safeguard the company's interests.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5–7 years of proven success handling taxation within a large-scale manufacturing organization or a Big 4 firm.
• Education: B.Com, CA, or ACA qualification.
• Technical Edge: Deep expertise in local tax laws, VAT/Sales tax mechanisms, and corporate income tax regulations.
• Systems Fluent: Proficiency in managing complex accounting cycles within an ERP environment.
• Leadership: A detail-oriented leader capable of managing tight deadlines and complex regulatory landscapes.
