People is looking for a REGIONAL HEAD – RETAIL SALES – GUJRAWALA to lead regional sales operations for our Takaful & Investment retail business. The role requires a seasoned sales leader with proven expertise in driving large-scale growth, expanding distribution networks, and managing high-performing teams within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets.
- Lead retail distribution expansion across assigned locations.
- Oversee sales operations, productivity, profitability, and compliance with national sales objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate large multi-tiered sales teams across regions.
- Build strong business relationships with HNWIs, SMEs, corporate clients, and institutional partners.
- Implement performance management systems, sales incentives, and succession planning.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to recommend proactive business strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership on marketing, product, and channel initiatives to enhance business growth.
- Represent the region in strategy meetings, performance reviews, and cross-functional forums.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree from a recognized institution.
- 6 - 8 years of progressive experience in retail sales/business development, including 2-3 years in senior leadership within:
- Financial Services
- Banking
- Asset Management
- Insurance / Takaful
- Proven track record in achieving revenue targets, business expansion, and large-scale team leadership.
- Strong connections across retail, affluent, corporate, SME, and HNWI segments.
