The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)
• Prepare Australian income tax returns (Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & Individuals)
• Prepare statements of cash flows and consolidated reports where required
• Complete assignments to Manager/Partner review stage with minimal supervision
• Manage workflow to meet turnaround expectations
• Maintain strong productivity levels
• Liaise professionally with Australian clients via email and video
• Supervise and review work of 1–3 junior accountants
• Draft tax advice emails for senior review
• Identify technical issues and escalate appropriately

About You

• 5–7 years total accounting experience
• 3+ years servicing Australian public practice clients
• Strong experience in MYOB AE, Xero, and BGL
• Experience supervising 1–3 junior accountants
• Comfortable drafting technical tax correspondence
• Working toward CA ANZ or CPA Australia (highly regarded)
