Motorsport Journalist & Digital Content Producer

Key Responsibilities

• Write and publish daily motorsport news, feature articles, and race analysis.
• Monitor international motorsport news and identify breaking stories.
• Cover major championships including Formula 1, Supercars, NASCAR, IndyCar, WEC, IMSA, and WRC.
• Rewrite press releases into engaging editorial content.
• Publish and manage content using WordPress.
• Optimize articles using SEO best practices, including headlines and metadata.
• Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
• Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure editorial accuracy.
• Source and manage images in accordance with licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to plan content calendars and support race weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven experience writing news, feature articles, or digital editorial content.
• Strong research, editing, and fact-checking abilities.
• Experience using WordPress or another Content Management System (CMS).
• Understanding of SEO and digital publishing best practices.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight editorial deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Formula 1, Supercars, NASCAR, IndyCar, WEC, IMSA, and World Rally Championship (WRC).
• Experience managing social media content for digital audiences.
• Background in motorsport journalism, sports journalism, or digital publishing.
• Experience covering live sporting events or race weekends.
• Passion for the motorsport industry and current racing news.
