Offshore Loan Processor (Australian Mortgages)
Our Company is looking for an experienced Offshore Loan Processor to support our growing broker team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers, documents, and compliance, and who can confidently manage loan files from pre-assessment through to lodgement.
As a key support to our brokers, you will ensure loan files are complete, accurate, compliant, and ready for submission—allowing brokers to focus on building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Loan File Review & Verification
- Cross-check client documents against Fact Find information
- Verify ID, income, employment, liabilities, and assets
- Run credit checks and identify discrepancies
- Flag missing or inconsistent information early
Loan Calculations & Servicing
- Run lender servicing calculators to assess borrowing capacity
- Review loan structures, pricing, and repayments
- Prepare clear servicing summaries and file notes for brokers
Application Lodgement & Processing
- Build and lodge applications via lender portals and aggregation systems
- Upload supporting documents and complete declarations
- Track applications and follow up outstanding conditions
- Prepare settlement and audit packs when required
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure files meet CURA, SFG, and compliance standards
- Complete compliance checklists and documentation links
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information
Broker & Team Support
- Provide administrative and analytical support to brokers
- Prepare comparison worksheets, summaries, and scenario notes
- Communicate updates clearly via Trello and email
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain loan trackers for approvals, conditions, and settlements
- Provide regular status updates on active files
- Suggest improvements to workflows and processes
What Were Looking For
Essential
- Experience in loan processing or credit support for Australian mortgages or asset finance
- Strong understanding of payslips, balance sheets, and P&L statements
- Experience using lender servicing calculators
- Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
Desirable (but not required)
- Familiarity with major Australian lenders and policies
- Experience with SalesTrekker, SFG, or similar CRMs
- Exposure to ACL or regulated lending environments
