Position: Quality Lead
Location: Limerick, Ireland.
Profleet Engineering delivers expert mechanical installation, heavy equipment scheduling, pipe fabrication, and project management services. We also provide skilled personnel including riggers, crane drivers, welders, and engineers to meet project demands. Operating across Ireland, the UK, Denmark, and beyond, we focus on innovation, sustainability, and cost-effective solutions in every project.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities across projects

Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and documentation in line with industry standards and client requirements

Conduct regular inspections and audits of work, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards

Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to ensure quality requirements are met at all project stages

Provide technical support and guidance to site teams on quality procedures and best practices

Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and material certifications
-
Liaise with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors on quality-related matters

Train and mentor staff to promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability

Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and stakeholders
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in engineering, quality management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 5 years experience in a QA/QC or quality management role within mechanical, construction, or industrial projects

Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, EN, etc.) and industry regulations

Proven experience in developing and implementing quality systems and procedures

Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and leadership skills to influence and guide teams

Safe Pass and relevant site safety certifications

Proficient in documentation, reporting, and use of digital quality management tools

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy

Strong commitment to continuous improvement and client satisfaction
