Position: Rigging Supervisor
Location: Limerick, Cork

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all rigging activities on-site, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Plan and oversee the lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials
- Interpret lifting plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide rigging operations
- Ensure proper selection, inspection, and use of rigging gear and lifting equipment
- Lead and direct rigging teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Liaise with crane operators, engineers, and site supervisors to coordinate lifting schedules and logistics
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments prior to rigging operations
- Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, equipment inspections, and incident reports
- Troubleshoot rigging issues and implement effective solutions to maintain productivity and safety
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the rigging crew
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Rigger, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Valid rigging certification and strong knowledge of rigging techniques, lifting plans, and equipment
- Safe Pass and other relevant site safety training/certifications
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and lifting plans
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations for lifting operations
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions
