ProFleet Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a full-time, long-term position supporting a major hyperscale Data Centre project in Denmark.

About the Role

This is a leadership position responsible for managing mechanical engineering activities on a live, fast-paced data centre environment. The successful candidate will lead engineering teams, manage subcontractors, engage directly with the client, and ensure the successful delivery, commissioning and handover of complex mechanical systems.

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 5+ years' experience in the Data Centre and/or Semiconductor industries.
* Proven track record delivering projects within live operational environments.
* Extensive experience with:
* Process Pipework Systems
* High Purity & Industrial Mechanical Installations
* Complex Chemical & Process Dosage Systems
* Tool Installation & Utility Connections
* Mechanical Plant & Equipment Installation
* Demonstrable experience managing mechanical subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
* Proven ability to engage directly with clients, consultants and principal contractors.
* Strong understanding of QA/QC, compliance, commissioning and final handover processes.
* Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.
* Experience working with international contractors and hyperscale clients is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead all mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee and manage mechanical subcontractors, ensuring quality, productivity and programme compliance.
* Act as the primary engineering interface with the client, consultants and project management teams.
* Manage technical queries, design coordination and engineering reviews.
* Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
* Drive QA/QC inspections, testing, commissioning and system validation.
* Manage compliance documentation, turnover packs and successful project handover to the client.
* Mentor and lead site engineering teams while maintaining programme and commercial objectives.
