As our European footprint expands, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead major capital projects commencing in 2026.

Role Overview

The Construction Manager will oversee on-site delivery of complex engineering and construction works, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role requires strong leadership, excellent coordination abilities, and proven experience with large-scale data centre and semiconductor projects.


Key Responsibilities

Construction Leadership & Site Management

Lead on-site construction activities across multiple European project locations.

Coordinate day-to-day operations ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, trades, and construction teams.

Project Planning & Coordination

Work with project managers, planners, and engineers to align construction sequencing.

Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for constructability.

Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise delays.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.

Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout all phases.

Stakeholder Communication

Act as a key construction interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Participate in progress meetings and provide detailed updates.

Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams.

Cost & Schedule Management

Monitor progress, productivity, and resource utilisation.

Support cost control, forecasting, and budget management.

Assist in reviewing claims, variations, and subcontractor performance.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate site records, reports, logs, and inspection documents.

Prepare progress reports, method statements, and coordination plans.

Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation strategies promptly.


Requirements

Essential Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience as a Construction Manager on data centre or semiconductor projects.

Proven leadership of large, multi-disciplinary construction teams.

Strong understanding of MEP, civil, structural, and architectural interfaces.

Knowledge of European construction regulations, safety standards, and compliance frameworks.

Excellent decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to travel across European project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in mission-critical or high-technology construction environments.

Familiarity with BIM coordination and construction management software.

Additional European language skills.
