Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the designated system owner for assigned mechanical, piping, or utility systems during project execution and handover

  • Perform line walks to verify installation against P&IDs, isometrics, and project specifications

  • Ensure systems are completed in line with quality standards, safety requirements, and client expectations

  • Review and sign off punch lists, redlines, and walkdown documentation

  • Coordinate with construction teams, commissioning teams, and quality inspectors to resolve outstanding issues

  • Verify cleanliness, mechanical completion, and readiness of systems prior to testing and turnover

  • Maintain accurate system documentation including line check reports, punch lists, and turnover packages

  • Liaise with clients and project managers during system walkdowns and final acceptance inspections

  • Support continuous improvement in system handover processes and documentation control

  • Promote adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards during all site activities

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical, piping, or engineering trade/qualification (or equivalent industry experience)

  • Previous experience as a line walker, system owner, or similar role within construction/industrial projects

  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, utilities, and mechanical installation standards

  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical documentation

  • Familiarity with system handover, punch list management, and turnover processes

  • Safe Pass and relevant site safety training/certifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies

  • Strong communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams

  • Proficiency in preparing and maintaining system documentation and reports
