Position: General Operative

Location: Limerick, Ireland.

Profleet Engineering delivers expert mechanical installation, heavy equipment scheduling, pipe fabrication, and project management services. We also provide skilled personnel including riggers, crane drivers, welders, and engineers to meet project demands. Operating across Ireland, the UK, Denmark, and beyond, we focus on innovation, sustainability, and cost-effective solutions in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of site-based duties to support mechanical, rigging, and construction teams

• Assist with the movement of materials, tools, and equipment around site

• Perform general labouring tasks such as cleaning, tidying, and preparing work areas

• Support skilled trades by providing assistance during installation, assembly, and maintenance activities

• Follow site instructions, health and safety guidelines, and company procedures at all times

• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively

• Participate in site safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training as required

• Report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors

• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment

• Demonstrate flexibility by taking on a range of duties as directed to ensure smooth site operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, engineering, or industrial environments (preferred but not essential)

• Safe Pass certification (mandatory)

• Manual handling certification and other relevant site safety training (advantageous)

• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team

• Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and general site labour duties

• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing site requirements

• Strong commitment to health, safety, and maintaining high standards on-site
