About the Role

Profleet Engineering are currently recruiting experienced Riggers for an upcoming shutdown project in Cork. This role will support critical lifting operations on a busy industrial site, requiring a strong focus on safety, coordination, and precision.

You will be working as part of an experienced team delivering essential work within a tight shutdown schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out lifting and rigging operations in line with approved lift plans

Attaching and securing loads using appropriate lifting equipment

Assisting crane operators and lifting supervisors during operations

Inspecting lifting gear and ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose

Maintaining clear communication during lifting activities

Adhering to all site safety procedures and lifting regulations

Requirements

Proven experience as a Rigger in industrial, pharmaceutical, or construction environments

Relevant rigging certification (e.g. CSCS/CSR/IPAF or equivalent)

Valid Safe Pass

Manual Handling certification (preferred)

Ability to work as part of a team in a high-pressure shutdown environment

Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
