Mechanical Supervisor

Position: Mechanical Supervisor

Location: Limerick, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical teams on-site to ensure project deadlines are met
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and testing of mechanical systems, equipment, and pipework
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans to guide team operations
• Monitor work progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring all team members adhere to regulations and site procedures
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to mechanical teams
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to report on progress, challenges, and resource needs
• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, manpower hours, and site reports
• Promote continuous improvement in workflows, productivity, and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Mechanical trade qualification or relevant engineering certification
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within mechanical installation or construction
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pipework, and fabrication processes
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Proven track record of maintaining safety and quality standards on large projects
• Safe Pass and relevant site safety training/certifications
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
