Position: Mechanical / Process Engineer

Location: Limerick, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and process systems

• Develop, review, and approve technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications in line with project requirements

• Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation

• Conduct system walkdowns and inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards

• Support project teams in troubleshooting mechanical and process issues during construction and commissioning phases

• Liaise with clients, project managers, and site teams to ensure technical requirements are met

• Oversee testing and validation of process and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimise systems and processes

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and as-built documentation

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies throughout project delivery

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum of 35 years experience in a mechanical/process engineering role within construction, pharma, data centre, or industrial projects

• Strong knowledge of piping, utilities, and mechanical systems design and installation standards

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation

• Familiarity with commissioning, validation, and handover processes

• Proficiency in engineering software and digital documentation tools

• Safe Pass and relevant site safety training/certifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
