REGISTERED NURSE - PULMONARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Pulmonary

RN - PULM

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Pulmonary department will have the following job responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse - Pulmonary

RN - PULM

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Pulmonary department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• 1 year of recent (within the last 2 years) Acute Care RN Experience Required
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.

• · BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
