Position Overview: As the Sterile Processing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sterile processing department. You will manage a team of technicians and ensure that all sterile processing activities are carried out in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the sterile processing team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Develop and implement policies and procedures for the sterile processing department to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations - Oversee the decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of all surgical instruments and equipment - Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient processing of surgical instruments and equipment - Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to ensure compliance with infection control protocols and standards - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment - Stay current with industry trends and advancements in sterile processing techniques and equipment - Participate in budget planning and manage department expenses within budgetary constraints Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field - Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required - Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role - Strong knowledge of sterile processing equipment, techniques, and industry standards - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Why Work for Us: At Progeny HR Solutions LLC, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
