Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team and oversee our busy Med/Surg department. As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Med/Surg department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment for our nursing staff. You will also work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures, monitor budget and resource utilization, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Med/Surg department
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote efficient and effective operations
- Monitor budget and resource utilization to ensure optimal use of available resources
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to nursing staff
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Med/Surg nursing practices
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of [location]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in Med/Surg nursing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
