About the job Country Head
We are retained by a respected international premium consumer health & wellness company, recognised for its science-based brand, long-term market commitment, and strong emphasis on quality, education, and professional standards.
To further strengthen and integrate its Croatian business, we are seeking a Country Head Croatia. This is a country leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for local operations, financial oversight, organisational alignment, and partner relationships, within a lean and developing market setup.
The role is particularly suited for a structured, credible and integration-oriented leader who can help establish clarity, consistency, and sustainable ways of working, while supporting continued market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the Croatian country organisation covering operations, commercial activities, financial management and governance
- Oversight of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring transparency and alignment with group standards
- Establishment and gradual reinforcement of clear processes, structures, and ways of working, in line with international governance and compliance requirements
- Coordination of supply, logistics, and operational flows, ensuring reliability and continuity of service to the market
- Acting as a key senior interface to business partners and major customers, fostering trust, long-term collaboration, and mutual alignment
- Supporting the ongoing integration and professionalisation of the local organisation following its transition into an international group environment
- Ensuring constructive collaboration between local teams and regional / central functions
- Monitoring market dynamics, operational risks, and organisational performance, and addressing issues proactively
- Representing the company locally with professionalism and credibility
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in country management, general management, or senior operational leadership roles
- Strong background in operations, finance, governance, and organisational structuring, ideally within consumer goods, health, pharma, or similar environments
- Experience working in partner-based or hybrid go-to-market models
- Solid financial acumen and confidence in managing budgets, margins, and operational performance
- Structured, calm, and reliable leadership style with the ability to build alignment over time
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in Croatian and English
