Senior Accountant

Your Key Responsibilities

• Preparing company accounting reports for monthly reporting to management, parent companies, and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate financial data for consolidation and group reporting.
• Overseeing bookkeeping entries and ensuring accurate recording of business transactions.
• Preparing tax calculations and participating in tax audits.
• Contributing to accounting-related projects and process improvements.
• Preparing the companys annual financial statement and accounting section of the annual report for the Company and the Group.
• Supporting the audit process.

Our Expectations

• Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational environment.
• Strong expertise in local and international accounting standards (IFRS, Slovene GAAP) and other relevant financial regulations.
• Certification as a Certified Accountant from the Slovenian Institute of Auditing is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluent English skills (written and verbal), knowledge of an additional foreign language (German, Italian, or a language from the SEE region) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and professional in team collaboration.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
