Our client, a market leader with over 35 years of experience in service and distribution within the FMCG sector, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Accounting Associate to support the Director of Accounting and Finance. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports to support business decision-making for various stakeholders.
• Reconciliations & Compliance: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations, and ensure transactions follow company policies.
• Process Optimization: Support the enhancement of accounting and financial systems (testing, reconciliation, verification).
• General Accounting Tasks: Provide support in various accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics (Finance, Accounting, or a related field).
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a similar role (internships included).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Navision Dynamics is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and ambition to grow in the field of accounting and finance.
