Our client, a market leader in sustainable energy solutions, is expanding its team in Zagreb. As they continue to seize new opportunities in electricity and natural gas trading, they are looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager | Energy Sector to drive business growth and strengthen key client relationships.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Develop & Expand the Business
You will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new key clients in electricity and natural gas trading, while also nurturing relationships with existing accounts. Your role will require you to actively seek out new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and propose tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Drive Strategic Growth & Partnerships
Beyond client management, you will play a key role in building partnerships with electricity suppliers, renewable energy suppliers, and sustainability-focused businesses. Your expertise in the energy market will help expand the companys presence, contributing to long-term business success.
Own Client Relationships & Act as a Trusted Advisor
Your ability to develop trust-based relationships with clients and industry partners will be essential. You will serve as the main point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring a seamless customer experienceand fostering long-term collaborations.
Negotiate & Close High-Impact Deals
You will take the lead in preparing compelling proposals, structuring deals, and finalizing agreements with key clients and partners. Your negotiation skills will be crucial in securing mutually beneficial contractsand maximizing business opportunities.
Advise, Educate & Position the Company as an Industry Leader
As a subject matter expert, you will provide strategic consulting to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of energy trading and sustainability solutions. Your role will include educating clients on market trends, regulatory changes, and innovative energy strategies.
Your Background & Skills:
- Degree in economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or key account management.
- Familiarity with the electricity and natural gas market is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation & relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in Croatian, English (additional foreign languages are a plus!).
