Mechanical Design Engineer

Due to continued growth in their R&D department, they have partnered with us to find a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their technical team.

The Role

As an Executive Search firm, we are looking for a candidate who bridges the gap between creative engineering and technical precision. You will be responsible for the mechanical architecture of automated systems, transforming complex requirements into functional, high-performance machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Design: Develop 3D models and 2D technical drawings for custom packaging lines and conveyor modules.
• Engineering Precision: Conduct structural and kinematic calculations to ensure system durability and efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with internal electrical engineers and assembly specialists to bring designs to life.
• Technical Management: Manage technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure seamless production.
• Innovation: Participate in the optimization of modular systems to improve performance and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Education: University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Expertise: Proven experience with 3D CAD modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of drive technology, material science, and automation principles.
• Language: Professional proficiency in Slovenian and English.
• Traits: A methodical approach to problem-solving and a passion for staying ahead of industrial automation trends.
