Accountant

To support further growth and strengthen their finance function, we are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and professional Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Receivable process, including monitoring incoming payments, reconciling balances, and ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
• Maintain, reconcile, and ensure the accuracy of analytical accounting records
• Monitor payment flows (incoming and outgoing) and perform reconciliations of customer and supplier accounts
• Prepare and execute payment orders in accordance with internal policies and deadlines
• Maintain accurate and compliant tax and VAT records, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
• Support monthly and statutory reporting, including VAT, BST, KRD, SFR, and ČPPS submissions
• Manage the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations, revaluation processes, and coordination of asset inventories
• Oversee contract governance and ensure proper document archiving to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting by gathering, organizing, and validating data

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Brings relevant hands-on accounting experience, ideally across Accounts Receivable and general accounting processes

• Possesses a solid understanding of Slovenian and international accounting standards

• Has a good grasp of VAT procedures and tax compliance requirements

• Is proficient in ERP systems; experience with SAP is a significant advantage

• Demonstrates strong communication skills in both Slovenian and English

• Works with a high degree of accuracy, responsibility, and organisational discipline
