The Opportunity
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, sales-driven Business Development Engineer – DACH to drive market expansion across the German-speaking markets.
The role is formally based out of the companys Munich office, which serves as a regional coordination hub for the DACH region. However, this is not a traditional desk-based role. Success in this position comes from market proximity, customer engagement, and on-site collaboration with clients and partners.
You will act as the strategic spearhead for winning high-impact service projects, combining senior-level business development responsibility with strong technical understanding. In this role, you will help shape solutions for complex project environments and build long-term partnerships that support the companys continued growth across DACH.
Key Highlights of the Role
- Lead business development activities across the DACH region, with a strong focus on Germany
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities in industrial automation, intralogistics, HVAC, and technical service projects
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of high-value industrial projects and framework agreements
- Develop long-term partnerships with EPC contractors, system integrators, OEMs, and major industrial clients
- Translate customer requirements into competitive technical service solutions together with engineering and project teams
- Act as a trusted technical-commercial advisor for complex installation and commissioning projects
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Represent the company in the market and build long-term strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- Background in engineering, industrial automation, intralogistics, HVAC, or related technical fields
- 5+ years of experience in B2B business development or technical sales, ideally in project-driven engineering environments
- Proven ability to win complex industrial projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of the regional market
- Ability to combine commercial strategy with technical understanding
- Native German and professional English required
- Knowledge of Slovenian is considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently across the DACH region
- Ideally based in or near Munich
