Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP CTRM Consultant to lead the implementation of SAP Commodity Trade and Risk Management solutions. The role focuses on supporting commodity trading processes, market exposure, and hedge/risk management within the SAP ecosystem.

As CTRM is an evolving area in SAP, professionals with strong backgrounds in SAP TRM (Treasury and Risk Management) or risk & financial modules are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SAP CTRM functionalities to support physical and financial commodity trades.

  • Configure trade capture, market data integration, pricing, and mark-to-market valuation.

  • Support hedge management, position monitoring, and exposure reporting.

  • Collaborate with SAP TRM, FICO, and Commodity Management teams to ensure end-to-end process coverage.

  • Work closely with stakeholders in risk, finance, and trading desks to align systems with risk policies.

  • Provide documentation, user training, and postgo-live support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, IT, Economics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of SAP experience with strong exposure to TRM, FICO, or related risk modules.

  • Familiarity with commodity price risk, hedging instruments, and financial derivatives.

  • Understanding of market risk concepts (e.g., exposure limits, MTM, VaR).

  • Hands-on configuration experience in SAP for risk, hedge accounting, or market data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA for Commodity Risk Management.

  • Knowledge of other commodity ERP/CTRM platforms (e.g., Openlink, Allegro, Aspect).

  • SAP certification in Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) or Financial Supply Chain.

  • Solid understanding of commodity markets (e.g., energy, metals, agribusiness).
