Position Summary:
The Food Quality & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of food safety and quality documentation across manufacturing facilities. This role ensures that all processes align with internal standards, regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and company policies. Reporting to the Group Quality Manager, the position supports risk minimization efforts and helps build a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure documentation complies with food safety and quality standards.
Perform routine audits and sampling of policies, procedures, and data to confirm accuracy and adherence.
Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and track resolution outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date and precise records of quality checks, testing outcomes, and compliance reports.
Support internal and external audits including BRC, SQF, and customer audits.
Conduct packaging and product specification reviews as required.
Assist the Group Quality Manager with reports, data analysis, and special projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or quality control setting.
Sound knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, FSANZ, and GMP.
Experience with food quality systems such as BRC, SQF, or ISO 22000 is an advantage.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative work style.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality data management tools.
