Our client, a leading independent global investment bank with a strong is actively seeking an Associate for its Consumer team. This team has deep expertise across retail, consumer products, food & beverage, beauty, wellness, and e-commerce and is recognized for its long-standing relationships with leading corporate clients, founders, entrepreneurs, and private equity sponsors, as well as its differentiated sector knowledge and strong execution track record across strategic advisory and transaction services.

The Associate will work closely with senior bankers and clients throughout all phases of a transaction, taking on significant responsibility in financial analysis, process management, and client communication.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and operating models; preparing pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other marketing materials; conducting industry and company research; coordinating due diligence processes; managing data rooms and buyer/investor outreach; and supporting negotiations and transaction execution. Associates are also expected to mentor and oversee Analysts, while contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant investment banking experience, preferably within consumer, retail, or broader industry coverage groups. Candidates should possess strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including experience with DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and LBO modeling. 

Exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines are essential. 

A demonstrated interest in consumer trends and markets, along with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic, is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
