Position Overview

A fall intern for Prospect Rock Academy acts as a liaison between the academy and the student community on their university campus. They are responsible for promoting our investment banking educational platform, building brand awareness, and engaging students interested in breaking into investment banking. This involves spreading information about our online courses, one-on-one coaching services, recruiting resources, and current job market insights.

Key Responsibilities

Promote Prospect Rock Academy

• Increase brand awareness and exposure for Prospect Rock Academy on campus, utilizing both online and offline strategies
• Share information about our investment banking courses, coaching programs, and comprehensive newsletter with fellow students, faculty, and relevant student groups (finance clubs, investment societies, pre-professional organizations)
• Utilize social media, email, and in-person interactions to publicize our educational offerings and career resources
• Highlight success stories of students who have broken into investment banking through our programs

Engage with Students

• Build a network of students interested in investment banking careers on campus
• Act as a primary point of contact for students with questions about breaking into investment banking
• Provide valuable information and guidance to students interested in investment banking recruiting, technical skills development, and career preparation
• Answer student inquiries about our online courses, one-on-one coaching services, and newsletter content
• Connect students with relevant Prospect Rock Academy resources based on their career stage and goals

Organize and Participate in Events

• Help organize and host workshops, seminars, and information sessions about investment banking careers and recruiting on campus
• Participate actively in Prospect Rock Academy events and assist with logistics
• Assist in recruiting events for our courses and coaching programs, attending finance club meetings, and hosting informal networking sessions
• Coordinate with career services and finance departments to maximize reach and impact

Provide Feedback and Insights

• Collect feedback from students about their investment banking career interests and challenges
• Provide insights to the Prospect Rock Academy team about student needs, recruiting trends on campus, and competitive landscape
• Share information about campus recruiting activities, investment banking events, and student sentiment around finance careers

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student
• Strong interest in investment banking and finance careers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable with social media and digital marketing tools
• A positive attitude and willingness to represent Prospect Rock Academy enthusiastically
• Preferred: Active member of finance club, investment society, or pre-professional organization
• Preferred: Previous internship experience in finance or demonstrated interest in investment banking
