Home Care Worker (PSW/HCA)

Hourly Rate range: $21-24/hr

Position Overview:

Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking compassionate, reliable, and personable Home Care Workers (Personal Support Workers or Health Care Aides) to provide companionship and light support for private clients across Calgary.

This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and delivering person-centered care in a home setting. Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and caring attitude are encouraged to apply—less than one year of experience is acceptable.

We serve a diverse client base, and bilingual or multilingual candidates are considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and engage in friendly conversation
• Support clients' emotional well-being and social interaction
• Assist with light daily activities and routines
• Perform light meal preparation as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

Qualifications & Requirements:

• PSW (Personal Support Worker) or HCA (Health Care Aide) certificate preferred
• HCA certification and registration is considered an asset but not required
• Entry-level candidates (less than 1 year of experience) are welcome
• Valid First Aid & BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Police clearance (required)
• Resume required upon application
• Fluency in an additional language is an asset
