Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Sonographer on behalf of our client, a growing diagnostic imaging provider expanding its services with a new clinic location in Whitecourt, Alberta.

The clinic offers a range of diagnostic imaging services including:

• Ultrasound
• X-ray
• Fluoroscopy
• Bone Mineral Density (BMD)
• Pain Management
• Breast Imaging

Role Overview

The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support high-quality patient care within a collaborative clinical environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic medical ultrasound examinations
• Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain examinations
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals
• Follow best practices for patient safety, privacy, and care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Registered with Sonography Canada (ARDMS considered an asset)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in ultrasound
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with ultrasound equipment and imaging software
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
