Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently hiring on behalf of a physician-led, community-based diagnostic imaging organization in Calgary. This growing private practice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care through a combination of clinical expertise and advanced imaging technology.
With multiple clinic locations across the city, their team includes subspecialty-trained radiologists, technologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to provide exceptional care and service.
The Role
We are seeking a Full-Time CLXT / X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic and growing diagnostic imaging team. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring a safe, professional, and supportive patient experience.
You will work closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams, supporting both diagnostic and interventional imaging services across multiple clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Experience
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional clinical setting
- Support patients by answering questions and easing anxieties
- Obtain patient histories and explain procedures clearly
- Review exam appropriateness and patient readiness
Technical & Clinical Duties
- Operate and adjust X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including fluoroscopy and C-arm operation
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment logs
Documentation & Quality
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality
- Uphold quality standards for imaging, workflow, and turnaround times
- Support inventory management and supply stocking
- Assist in training and mentoring team members as needed
Professional Practice
- Work under the direction of the Clinic Manager
- Maintain knowledge of clinic procedures and compliance standards
- Protect patient privacy and uphold professional standards
Qualifications
Required
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Radiologic Technology or CLXT from an accredited institution
- Active registration and good standing with ACMDTT
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Patient-focused mindset with a commitment to clinical excellence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital systems
Preferred
- Experience with interventional fluoroscopy
- Background in interventional radiology or pain management
Work Environment
- Full-time position (8-hour shifts)
- Flexible scheduling (evenings and weekends may be required)
- In-person role across multiple Calgary clinic locations
- Must be able to travel within Calgary
Compensation & Benefits
- $39 – $52/hour (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus
- $10,000 – X-Ray Technologist

Bonus structure:
- 25% paid upon signing
- 75% paid after successful completion of probation
