Location: Campbellton Regional Hospital (situated at 189 Lily Lake Road, Campbellton, NB, E3N 3H3)

Schedule : Rotation, Day, Night (8 and 12 hours shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.)

Salary: $36.05 to $45.67 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

Carry out the steps in the nursing process and manage the care episode within a helping relationship involving relations with clients and their loved ones. Perform any other related duties as per the needs of the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Member of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB);
• Minimum of two years relevant clinical experience acquired in the last eight years considered an asset;
• Basic life support (BLS) certificate and maintenance of certification;
• Practical computer skills;
• Proven ability to organize and manage assigned workload;
• Proven ability to function in a changing work environment;
• Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team;
• Proven teaching, communication and interpersonal skills with health care personnel and community organizations/services;
• Proven ability to work with the elderly;
• Keen interest in gaining deeper insight into geriatric care;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Networks management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
