Schedule: Rotation, Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call, Other (8 and 12-hour shifts. Possibility of standby and call back. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.)

Salary: $ 36.05 to $ 45.67 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing nursing care in accordance with

professional standards and established policies and procedures. The work will include assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the care plan, in collaboration with other health care providers. The successful candidate may have to perform any other related duties depending on the departments needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick;
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate;
• Successful completion of practical and theoretical nursing orientation programs specific to the unit within set time frame;
• Personal qualities or skills required: organizational skills, people skills, adaptability to change and interest in furthering own knowledge;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Networks management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
