Salary: $36.05 to $45.67 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

The registered nurse acts as a pivot within the interdisciplinary team. The RN plans, coordinates, influences,

offers clinical advice, directs and evaluates all nursing care to be provided to the patients under the RNs

responsibility. The RN makes a major contribution to the health care system through their work in direct care,

training, administration, research and policy development in their work environment, while complying with the

mission, philosophy, objectives and policies of Vitalité Health Network. The RN performs all other related tasks

as required by the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

Registered with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.

Successful completion of nursing certification programs specific to unit within set time frames.

Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.

Personal qualities or skills required: ability to manage time and establish priorities with judgment, adaptability,

interest in furthering learning and proven aptitude for teaching.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to perform the assigned work.

Good work history (performance and attendance).

Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Networks management philosophy, and organizational

values.

Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.

NOTE: This position includes the possibility of reassignment in all mother-child sectors.
