Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking on behalf of our client a Registered Nurse Class A (RNCA) to join the Emergency Department in Campbellton, New Brunswick.

Position Details

• Schedule: Rotational schedule including days, nights, and weekends; 8- and 12-hour shifts

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care while supporting the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying patient care needs and participating in the planning, organization, delivery, and assessment of nursing care
• Monitoring patients' health conditions on an ongoing basis
• Recognizing potential complications and responding promptly during emergencies
• Providing safe, timely, and effective nursing interventions
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Working in accordance with hospital and nursing philosophies, objectives, policies, and established standards
• Occasionally working across various nursing units as required
• Accompanying patients during transfers when required

Qualifications & Certifications

• Registered in good standing with the College of Nursing of New Brunswick
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical nursing experience acquired within the past 5 years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Cardiac Arrhythmia course completed or commitment to complete within the required timeframe
• Critical Care Certificate (Emergency Care) or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification, or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification
• Triage Course (CTAS) completed or commitment to complete within the required timeframe
• Successful completion of required certification programs for delegated functions specific to the Emergency Department within the required timeframe
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform the assigned duties
• Good work history, including satisfactory performance and attendance
• Commitment to professional ethical principles
• Ability to align with the organization's management philosophy and organizational values
• Bilingual proficiency is essential
