Job Title: Technical Project Manager Payroll & Time & Attendance
Location: Remote (LAO (Latin America) region preferred)
Role Overview
The Technical Project Manager Payroll & Time & Attendance will lead HR technology and operations initiatives focused on payroll systems, time tracking, and system integrations. This role partners closely with HR, IT, and external vendors to manage projects from planning through deployment while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with HR, IT, and vendor teams

Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resources

Oversee the full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, implementation, automation, and deployment

Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery
Technical & Process Documentation

Translate business requirements into technical documentation and process flows

Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and integrations

Partner with HR Operations to ensure workflow alignment and system readiness
Team & Stakeholder Coordination

Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate project meetings

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure accountability

Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
Vendor & System Integration Management

Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to implement and test integrations

Ensure seamless integration between payroll systems, time tracking platforms, and Workday
Risk & Change Management

Identify potential risks and create mitigation plans

Manage communication and change throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience:

5+ years of HR project management experience with a focus on payroll projects

Hands-on experience with Workday, payroll platforms, and system integrations

Experience leading end-to-end payroll initiatives
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet)
