Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNA) – Hemodialysis Unit

Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking on behalf of our client a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNA) to join the Hemodialysis Unit in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Position Details

• Unit: Hemodialysis Unit
• Location: Moncton, NB
• Job Classification: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNA)
• Job Classification Type: NBNU
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• FTE: 1.0
• Schedule: Rotational schedule, consisting of 8- or 12-hour shifts
• Language Requirement: French essential; spoken English required

Work schedules may be adjusted to meet operational needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide nursing care in accordance with the applicable scope of practice, professional standards, legislation, established policies, and organizational practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing patient assessments
• Collaborating in the development and implementation of care plans
• Implementing appropriate nursing interventions
• Monitoring patient/client conditions and outcomes
• Evaluating the effectiveness of care provided
• Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support quality patient care
• Practising independently within the scope of practice while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications & Certifications

• Member in good standing with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Successful completion of nursing certification programs specific to the Hemodialysis Unit within the required timeframe
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
• Good work history, including satisfactory performance and attendance
• Commitment to professional ethical principles
• Ability to align with the organization's management philosophy and organizational values
• French language proficiency is essential
• Spoken English proficiency required
