About the job Project Manager/ Organizer (Remote)
We are looking for a person of an exceptional ability that is willing to join our efforts in changing the underlying paradigm of decentralized ledger technology.
Humanode is a novel type of DLT. Peers in the system are equal in terms of validation and voting power. Nodes are deployed through biometric processing with liveness detection to prove that there is only one human behind each node. This approach is called Proof-of-Personhood where instead of mining equipment or staked assets a human being's biological uniqueness becomes the stake itself.
Tasks:
1) Be the line that separates order from chaos in the Humanode team
2) Manage and organize different teams, people and their tasks
3) Develop strategic, operational and tactical overview of the task of the Humanode project
4) Develop a comprehensive project management plan that teams can follow throughout each phase of the project.
5) Define and manage the scope of a project, creating a work breakdown structure (WBS), and gathering project requirements.
6) Develop project schedules, identifying activities, estimating required resources, as well as activity timelines.
7) Identifying the level of quality, human resources required to meet deliverables. Understand and mitigate any rising risks of not delivering something on time.
8) Analyze, validate, and control the scope of the project to ensure projects are not side-tracked or intended goals are not missed.
9) Negotiate and resolve conflicts.
10) Have fun.
11) Participate in community calls and events.
12) Be engaged in the community. Talk to people, inspire with your vision, be communicative.
13) Participate and promote the evolution of the Humanode vision and culture.
14) React and help in critical situations.
15) Be ready to become a Human node and participate in governance.
16) Work like you have skin in the game
Requirements:
1) Have a brief understanding how DLT's, blockchain, consensus mechanisms work.
2) Read through all the documents and blog posts of Humanode. Here [humanode.io/papers](http://humanode.io/papers) and here [blog.humanode.io](http://blog.humanode.io).
3) Native or fluent English. If you know any other languages that's an advantage.
4) Know how to time-manage yourself.
5) Be organized.
6) Be organized!
7) Be organization itself!!!
8) Basic knowledge about computers and how they work.
9) Knowledge of Agile, Kanban, theory of constraints, critical chain theory,
10) Be friendly.
11) Have a good heart. This is an absolute necessity.
12) Know how to remain calm under pressure.
13) Believe in the Humanode vision.
14) Know how to work with Notion and Github
The last one is really important. You will be working with a team of highly capable visionaries, professionals, and creators, and not key punchers that are "on the clock". It is important that you are able to work with various personality types, which work in timezones across the globe. Remember that no matter if they are writing/creating code, working on crypto-biometrics, the consensus mechanism, or content creation for media publication, they are all attempting to create and produce something that has never been done before. Learn to work with and encourage them, while also assisting them to remain focused on the tasks at hand, with the assigned timelines in mind.
Humanode was founded by Paradigm, a research institute that has been deeply involved into crypto since 2013. Team consists of experts and PhD's from around the globe that have fully dedicated themselves to the idea of building a decentralized protocol based on private biometrically encrypted nodes that could potentially change the world as we know it.
