About the project:

Our partner is the world leader in integration solutions for biomedical devices for hospitals and healthcare organizations. Through its connectivity solutions, advanced integration, and analysis options, they unlock the full potential of biomedical data by making it intelligible and usable for clinical and operational decision-making. With more than 25 years in the industry, the company has established strong partnerships with major manufacturers of medical devices and is present in more than 2000 hospitals in 39 countries.

As part of the Device Connectivity team, the Biomedical Engineers role is to bring biomedical expertise in the design phase of the products. The primary task consists in defining biomedical specifications for device drivers developed by the Device Connectivity department. This requires analysis of technical documentation of medical devices (operator manuals, communication protocols) as well as direct contact with device manufacturers. You will also interact closely with the Device Connectivity development and test teams. On this role you will report to System Engineering Manager. This a long-term opportunity. What you will do: Analyze medical device communication protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain biomedical specifications of device drivers
  • Consolidate information directly with device manufacturers when needed
  • Support the team activity by providing biomedical expertise on medical devices
  • Write technical and regulatory documents in compliance with quality management system
  • Comply with internal procedures

The skillset we are looking for:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Devices or in other related field
  • Fluent English
  • Basic knowledge of medical devices
  • Basic knowledge of clinical/hospital information systems
  • Knowledge of software development concepts
  • Rigor and analysis skills
  • Ability to work in a project team
  • Autonomous with good communication skills
