We are also the company behind two software solutions for office work – our workplace management software, Desk Buddy, and our performance management software, GROW.

Our partner is a major French private higher education platform, specializing in work-study programs across management, digital, and creative fields. We are currently seeking a Lead Web Developer (WordPress / PHP). Under the responsibility of the Web Manager, the Lead Developer ensures the technical coordination of web projects and contributes to the operational supervision of the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the technical design of evolutions in collaboration with the Product Owner and developers, ensuring robustness, maintainability, and scalability. 
  • Drive key technical decisions (architecture, frameworks, tools) and ensure their alignment with business needs and IS standards.
  • Develop and maintain a technical roadmap within the scope, in collaboration with the Web Manager and PO, to plan structural evolutions, necessary redesigns, or version upgrades.
  • Support developers in their growth: promote pair programming, mentoring, and feedback.
  • Conduct active technology watch to propose improvements and technical innovations. 
  • Test new tools, methods, or frameworks that could improve quality and productivity

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in WordPress and PHP development. 
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6 and familiarity with jQuery. 
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (such as SASS). 
  • Experience with a PHP framework is a plus for future developments. 
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles (modularity, scalability, maintainability). 
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker. Proficiency with CI/CD tools, particularly Argo and GitLab. 
  • Application of SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles in software design. Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript. Experience with SQL databases and REST APIs

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Azure, Docker, and Git
  • Experience with AI tools is considered an advantage
