Security Manager

Job Description

Manage, monitor, and coordinate all activities related to safety and security within the company's standard, policies and procedures with the objective of promoting industrial peace, providing safe and secured working environment to all company employees and its resources.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement policies and strategies of corporate security, including but not limited to, internal investigations, executive protection, workplace violence, technological protection systems, security guard agency management, crisis management, and environmental health and safety.
• Through consensus building, develop and implement changes to programs which will effectively and appropriately provide protection of corporate assets, including employees, capital assets, and proprietary assets.
• Coordinate an ongoing review of existing security programs and initiate the development of new programs, as needed, at all facilities nationwide.
• Maintain close oversight of all executive protection requirements providing pre-planning intelligence information to appropriate personnel.
• Provide consulting support and make recommendations to management regarding appropriate, timely and necessary improvements or enhancements.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of relative bodies of law
• Lead the Crisis Management Team and the Disaster Management Team to ensure the viability and success of these programs.

Requirements

• Preferably a Philippine Military Academy or any related field
• Must have a security professional license
• Must have at least 5 years working experience in Safety & Security
• Must have solid background general safety in case of disastrous events such as fire, earthquake and other related accidents.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be certified security personnel
• Advantage to have Occupational Safety and Health OSH Certification
