Product Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operationalise product changes, pricing changes and promotional activities.
• Prepare and distribute briefs
• Coordinate updates in systems and collateral
• Validate system and collateral changes are made correctly, responsible for initial sign-off
• Be the first point of contact for product, pricing or collateral queries from stakeholders
• Conduct regular audits of internal and external product collateral
• Provide support for Product related tasks as required
• Produce competitor matrices across all mortgage asset types
• Provides market insights for credit policy, product and pricing to assist with competitive positioning & identifying market opportunities
• Support the development of reporting and analysis models & frameworks
• Report regularly to assist in tracking and auditing the pricing discretion framework
• Compile reporting on pricing approvers for audit and governance purposes.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Experience in data analytics and reporting for minimum 1 year
• Advanced skills including MS Word, Excel and other widely used applications.
• Prior experience within a financial institution
• Knowledgeable in financial reporting tools and systems (i.e., Tableau, PowerBI, ApplyOnline)
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
• Amenable to work on hybrid work set up (at least x3 onsite per week)
• Experience working for an Australian or any financial institution will be an advantage
