About the job Settlements Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all aspects of loan settlements are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure loan documents and instructions issued to panel lawyers are correct and accurate
- Ensure loan documents are complete, unaltered and appropriately executed and all settlement conditions have been met.
- Ensure that anomalies are discovered in line with money laundering legislation
- Ensure funding details are accurate to enable successful settlement
- Ensure that queries from brokers/partners are answered appropriately and accurately
- Ensure the delivery of best in class customer service
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in any field
- At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role
- Experience working in an Australian Financial Services environment will be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills,
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Positive disposition and can-do attitude
- Keen attention to details
- Ability to work well within a team environment
